This week on Ice is Slippery, we talk about conflicts in hockey both on and off the ice. The NHL is trying to do a heckin' capitalism on YouTube content creators, Fred's a little burned out on sports, but Kate is more excited about hockey than ever after attending the Stars-Avs game (let's not talk about the final score though).

This week on Ice is Slippery, Kate is feeling pretty positive about the Stars as long as we ignore the first 12 minutes of the Rangers game! In other news, the Flyers crushed the Ducks in Philly, and now Cutter Gauthier is just somebody that we used to know. 

Little Rat Man

This week on Ice is Slippery, Kate has overcome her fear of Sharks as long as they come from San Jose and Joe Pavelski should consider a post-hockey career as a hair model. We also discuss hockey player archetypes and identify a major missing piece for the Dallas Stars.

This week on Ice is Slippery, we catch up on some news and games from the shortened holiday week and make New Year's resolutions on behalf of some NHL teams and players. Kate would also like people to please stop breaking Mason Marchment's face.

This week on Ice is Slippery, we make some important scientific discoveries and desperately look for something special about the Dallas Stars special teams. We're also happy our ex Scott Wedgewood is living his best life, but we wish we hadn't been foolish enough to let him go.

We talk about the Dallas Stars defenseman's NHL debut, take a spin on the Colorado Avalanche goalie carousel, and feel vindicated in our admiration of Scott Laughton. We also add the San Jose Sharks to our holiday playlist and give some rare praise to the NHL marketing team.

This week on Ice is Slippery, Fred is still a half a hockey fan and Kate is beginning to wonder if the Dallas Stars are 100% of a hockey team. We talk about NHL news including the rosters for the 4 Nations Face-Off, go on Wedgewatch, and try to figure out whether the antonym for "relentless" is "relentful".

Kindergarten With Swearing

This week on Ice is Slippery, Fred is on the stop trying to murder people train and Kate is Mason Marchment's attorney and he is innocent. The Stars may have Kate back on her downward spiral, but the Flyers have no quit in them. Finally, we're writing new rules for the NHL where refs will have to answer for their crimes and goalie fights will be codified.

This week on Ice is Slippery Fred knows more than he thinks he does, but doesn't actually know what any of it means. Kate talks about why sometimes it's better to be a bad team than a good team (or at least more fun), and we speculate what our favorite hockey players might bring to Friendsgiving. 

Quarter of a Hockey Fan

This week on Ice is Slippery, everyone's hitting their milestones, Fred knows even less about hockey than usual, and Kate admits she may have been a little hard on the Dallas Stars last week.
